FMS Monitor („the App“) is committed to protecting your privacy. This privacy policy explains
how the App handles your information when you use our FileMaker Server monitoring application.

Data Collection

FMS Monitor does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data or usage information.
The App operates entirely locally on your Mac computer and does not communicate with any third-party
servers or analytics services.

Credentials Storage

Your FileMaker Server credentials (username and password) are stored securely in the macOS Keychain
on your local device only. These credentials are:

• Encrypted by macOS using industry-standard security
• Never transmitted to any third-party servers
• Never shared with the developer or any other party
• Only accessible by FMS Monitor on your device

Network Communication

The App connects directly to your FileMaker Server using HTTPS to retrieve database information.
This connection is:

• Made directly from your Mac to your FileMaker Server
• Encrypted using HTTPS/TLS
• Not routed through any intermediary servers
• Only used to fetch database status information

Local Storage

The App stores the following information locally on your Mac using standard macOS storage mechanisms:

• Server URL (stored in UserDefaults)
• Admin username (stored in UserDefaults)
• Refresh interval preference (stored in UserDefaults)
• Admin password (stored in macOS Keychain)

This information never leaves your device and is only used for the App’s functionality.

Third-Party Services

FMS Monitor does not use any third-party services, including but not limited to:

• Analytics services
• Crash reporting services
• Advertising networks
• Social media integrations
• Cloud storage or backup services

Notifications

The App may display local system notifications on your Mac to alert you about server errors
or connection status changes. These notifications:

• Are generated locally on your device
• Are not sent to any external service
• Can be disabled in macOS System Settings

Children’s Privacy

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect information
from children, as we do not collect any information at all.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page
with an updated „Last updated“ date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes
acceptance of the updated policy.

Your Rights

Since FMS Monitor does not collect or store any personal data on external servers, there is
no data to access, modify, or delete from our systems. All data is stored locally on your
device and you have full control over it. You can:

• Delete the App to remove all local data
• Clear credentials from macOS Keychain at any time
• Modify settings within the App

Security

While we do not collect data, we take the security of your local data seriously. The App:

• Uses macOS Keychain for secure credential storage
• Enforces HTTPS-only connections to your FileMaker Server
• Operates within the macOS App Sandbox security model
• Does not bypass standard security measures
